A call to preserve real estate's core values
Video: Corcoran CEO says tech is also critical for brokers
By Inman News, Thursday, October 22, 2009.Pamela Liebman, president and chief executive officer for the New York City's The Corcoran Group, responds to a Twitter post by Future of Real Estate Marketing blog creator Joel Burslem that poses the question: "What should the real estate brand of the future mean to consumers?"
"I think that the core values of a real estate brand need to stay what they are today," Liebman said, "which is: someone who's there to be collaborative with you, to understand you, to serve your needs, to share information with you, and somebody who gets it ... and someone who you're comfortable with."
Those who don't embrace technology "will get left behind," she added, "but when you really get right down to it, the good brands have the good core values and they will stick with them."
