Great writing and excellent points. I go to the REBar Camps when I can as I gain much more knowledge at the REBC events than at NAR or the State Conventions. This year, the NAR trip wasn't in my budget, even if I wanted to go. There is great irony that some of the most visible re agents/sm gurus do not (actually 1 in particular) even acknowledge attempts at communication, not to mention a RE website company who has WALLS up between human contact with the vendor and clients. You can't make this stuff up! Like anything else, each of us must figure out what does and does not work for our own businesses, and just find humor in the irony all around us. Makes for many smiles.
