6-19-2008: I'd like to see a discussion on the FHA Rescue Bill, which also includes major improvements for the Reverse Mortgage. I see a need for the bill, especially among the elderly whose income cannot keep up with rising food, gas, taxes, utility costs (Dominion Elec. is raising their rates by 18% in July. 18%!!! more...
I've noticed recently that a lot of topic-spurs are occurring where someone asks a great question, but in the thread of another slightly-related topic.
Any way to get the text of the emails that get sent out to include something like:
###
This message thread is about "[Topic Title]" if it made you think of a new question please post a new topic by clicking this link: [new topic URL keyed to the group the original email was from].

I manage the Real Estate Bloggers group, which is growing and at times quite active.
Currently the only way to receive emails when a comment is posted is to receive a separate email with each comment.
A group member suggested it would be nice if emails could be compiled into a "daily digest" so only one email comes each day. A good idea.
Even cooler would be an RSS feed for a group....
Under community groups (http://www.inman.com/community/groups) , I clicked the map (North Carolina) then the words "search" poped beside the map - I clicked search. The page refreshed and displayed the following...
warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /var/www/html/modules/search/search.module on line 1268.
Browser: Firefox 2.0 (also received same result on IE7)
OS: Vista (SP1)
Will adding up the numbers from the main community page of each member type yield a trustworthy number to use as the total members of the community? Or at least directional?
Also, any chance you might roll some "total membership" stats into a future revision (total members, total members who posted/logged in/interacted with the site/etc this week/month)?
Thanks,

The "find a group" tool seems to work well, but is there any way to call up a list of ALL groups?
Thought it might be useful if you were trying to figure out if somebody has already created a group on a topic you're interested in, or just wanted to browse.
The best time know whether a topic is getting good reviews or not is before we bother clicking in to read it (assuming we trust the judgment of our fellow posters).
It would be nice to have an unvotingable version of the thumbs-up/down widget visible in the list view of the topics. It should be set so you can only vote on it from within the detail view of the full article (you should at least have tried to read it before you thumb it down or up).
In our profiles we can see the N number of people viewed our profile. Is that a number of unique individuals or could one person view our profile N times and run that tally up?
Thanks
When reading a post (for instance, if I click on the link from my email) in order to comment, I have to go to the login screen and login. Then it's confusing how to navigate back to the original post. Maybe there is a way to login and get right back to the post with one click?
I agree, I'd love to be able to edit - woops, I mispelled something - please!
Now how do I unsubscribe from this group?
Thanks,
